Urgent warning for iPhone owners as IOS update could cause massive problems – My London

iPhone users have been warned over a new update, with many being told just to ignore it. Apple is set to release a new iOS system which is being Beta tested by some members of the public before its full release in September.

In July, the new beta version goes live – with people able to test it out before the launch its official release in Autumn. However, the update may cause some people problems with previous examples of early release iOS updates leading to a myriad of issues.

“New public betas for iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS Ventura, tvOS 16, HomePod software version 16 and watchOS 9 are coming soon,” Apple said. “As a member of the Apple Beta Software Program, you can take part in shaping Apple software by test-driving pre-release versions and letting us know what you think.”

There have been complaints previously about the podcast app draining people’s batteries after they updated their iOS. iOS 16 is compatible with these devices: iPhone 13 iPhone 13 mini iPhone 13 Pro iPhone 13 Pro Max iPhone 12 iPhone 12 mini iPhone 12 Pro iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 11 iPhone 11 Pro iPhone 11 Pro Max iPhone XS iPhone XS Max iPhone XR iPhone X iPhone 8 iPhone 8 Plus iPhone SE (2nd generation or later).
